Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of nursery rooms, including toys, furniture, floors, windows, and play areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly to prevent the spread of germs and maintain health standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, changing areas, kitchens, and storage spaces within the nursery.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Restock cleaning supplies and hygiene products as needed to ensure continuous availability.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures specific to childcare or nursery environments is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, or steam cleaners safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
