Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated 2-3 PQE Dispute Resolution Consultant Solicitor to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will provide expert legal advice, manage cases, and support clients through a variety of legal challenges. Your proactive approach and keen negotiation skills will ensure effective resolution of legal matters while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. Currently, we have an excess of work so a following is not required initially (albeit very welcome if you do have any) and you will be free to undertake other consultancy work as your capacity allows. Possibly suits candidates that have school age children?
Experience of: LEAP case management (ideal); Debt Recovery software (bonus); Microsoft 365 (essential)
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive legal advice to clients on a wide range of issues, ensuring clarity and strategic guidance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements with precision and attention to detail.
- Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings with confidence and professionalism.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date counsel.
- Maintain meticulous records of case files, correspondence, and legal documentation for compliance and future reference.
Skills
- Proven experience as a 2-3 PQE commercial litigation solicitor with a strong understanding of contract law, dispute resolution and ADR. Contentious Insolvency experience is a bonus.
- Excellent negotiation skills, capable of securing favorable outcomes while fostering positive relationships.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex legal issues and develop practical solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—to clearly articulate legal concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive mindset with the enthusiasm to learn continuously and adapt in a dynamic environment.
