Transport Administrators play a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain industry by ensuring that goods are transported efficiently and on schedule.
You will assist in coordinating and facilitating the transportation of goods and oversee the administrative tasks associated with such transportation.
Location:
· Woolpit, Suffolk IP30 9RZ Permanent position, 45 hours per week including unpaid lunch hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Job input and monitoring using bespoke transport software
- Assist with monitoring the transportation of goods, ensuring all items are collected and delivered on time
- Assist with the organization of transport schedules and routes, ensuring optimal utilization of vehicles
- Handle transport-related paperwork, including PODs, driver manifests etc
- Communicate with colleagues, drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve any issues that may arise
- Use transport management software to track and monitor vehicle movement and deliveries
- Pallet Network related admin such as monitoring message boards, discrepancies, revenue checks
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous transport experience preferred
- Experience in the preparation of transport reports and KPIs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
