·We require a Chef/Cook for our small 17 bedded Care Home in Loanhead to work 5-6 days per week 9-6pm.
Duties include-
Overall day-to-day management of the kitchens.
· Preparation of menus and diet sheets in consultation with the Home Manager and Dietician.
· Ordering of food and other goods and implementation of stock control. Food orders will be presented to Home Manager for approval. Stock control will be carried out weekly.
· Record keeping as necessary.
· Budgetary controls.
· Preparing and cooking of all foods.
· Washing up duties as required.
· Ensuring that the hygiene standards within the kitchen meet Local Environment Health Department requirements.
· Ensure the well-being and safe-keeping of all equipment and utensils.
· Any other duties as required.
