Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain hygiene standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and assisting with menu selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout shifts.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when required, ensuring quality and presentation are upheld.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during peak hours while maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
