The Role
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Supply Chain Co-ordinator to support the smooth running of our supply chain function.
Working closely with purchasing, sales, warehouse, logistics and customer service teams, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock records, processing customer orders, coordinating inbound deliveries and supporting effective inventory and packaging management.
This is an ideal role for someone with previous supply chain, stock control, purchasing or logistics administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accuracy and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock records across internal systems, including stock levels, locations and stock movements.
- Support audit traceability requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
- Process customer sales orders, ensuring all details are correctly entered and validated before release.
- Monitor stock availability and communicate any issues that may impact customer orders.
- Track inbound deliveries, monitor overdue shipments and highlight supply risks.
- Manage IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) tracking records, including issues, returns, locations and customer allocations.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, hauliers and internal teams to ensure efficient management of returnable packaging.
- Reconcile monthly stock counts and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Support continuous improvements across stock control, purchasing administration and wider supply chain processes.
- Ensure records are maintained in line with company procedures, quality standards and audit requirements.
- Provide holiday cover for the Supply Chain Administrator, including running daily programmes and booking stock onto the ERP system.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a supply chain, stock control, inventory, logistics, purchasing or administrative role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience using ERP, MRP, stock control or warehouse management systems.
- Experience working with Bonded Warehouses and HMRC Duty
- Experience entering and managing customer sales orders.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Experience managing returnable packaging, pallet control or IBC tracking.
- Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or Purchasing.
