Community Learning & Development Officer (Permanent)
Renfrewshire Council’s Adult & Family Learning Service, part of the wider Connected Communities Service, is seeking a motivated and qualified Community Learning Officer to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful community-based Adult & Family Learning work and support Adults & Families to achieve positive outcomes and improved life chances.
Working primarily within community settings, you will play a key role in identifying the needs of adults and families and developing targeted projects and programmes that engage, support, and empower them.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver high quality CLD provision aligned with local priorities and the wider Community Planning agenda.
You must have experience in delivering community learning and development projects and supporting and developing communities, as well as experience of working in partnership with a range of agencies, and experience of outcome-based planning and self-evaluation.
You will have the ability to organise, manage and prioritise a diverse workload and meet deadlines, and be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
It is essential that you have effective communication, presentation and written skills.
A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience is essential, as is the ability to work evenings and weekends.
