Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Head Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel. Located in, this role is vital in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable stay. The position offers the opportunity to lead our housekeeping team and uphold the high standards of Borrowdale Gates.
What We’re Looking For Essential
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.
- Experience leading, supervising or supporting a team.
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.
- A positive, hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with other departments.
- Reliable, flexible and committed to delivering an excellent guest experience.
Desirable
- Experience as a Head Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
- Experience managing stock, linen and departmental budgets.
- Experience training, coaching and developing team members.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems and room status procedures.
