Thetford Golf Club
We are looking to strengthen our hospitality team with the addition of a Part-Time Bar & Waiting Assistant.
Our bar team is at the heart of the clubhouse, providing a warm welcome and excellent service to members and visitors. We are seeking a confident, friendly, and enthusiastic individual aged 21 or over who enjoys working with people and can work flexibly as part of a team.
This is a 25-hour per week contract, with shifts planned in advance. The role includes evening and weekend working and is available for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting members and visitors and taking food and drink orders
- Serving food and beverages to a high standard
- Working closely with the catering team to ensure excellent customer service
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the clubhouse
- Contributing to a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for members and guests
- Completing end-of-day cashing up and banking procedures
- Assisting with stock control and ordering supplies as required
- Closing the bar independently during evening shifts, ensuring all procedures and security checks are completed correctly.

Important Information
Due to the location of the golf club, there is no public transport available. Applicants must therefore have their own reliable means of transport.
