Salary: Paid to scale – England Teacher Pay Scale (pro rata)
The Role
Dunbar Education is recruiting for a qualified Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Culworth, near Banbury, from September 2026.
The school is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic teacher to provide PPA cover across the school every afternoon from Tuesday to Friday.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a part-time position that allows them to remain in the classroom while enjoying a great work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Provide PPA cover across Primary year groups
- Work Tuesday–Friday afternoons
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
- Follow existing planning and ensure continuity of learning
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Adapt learning to support pupils with different abilities and SEND needs
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Primary classroom teaching experience
- Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Confidence teaching across different Primary year groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
- Available to work Tuesday–Friday afternoons from September
Pay
The successful teacher will be paid in line with the England Teacher Pay Scale, pro rata, according to their experience and relevant pay scale point.
