Overview
We are seeking friendly and experienced Baristas/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service, preparing high-quality beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, maintaining quality standards.
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments securely.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential.
- Time management skills to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest experience while increasing sales potential.
- Prior serving experience is advantageous but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
