About Us
We are an ambitious, independent property business launching a new lettings agency with an established portfolio already in place. Our goal is to build one of the area's most trusted and successful lettings businesses, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator who wants to play a key role in that journey.
This is more than a traditional negotiator role. We are looking for someone with the drive, experience and commercial mindset to grow our lettings portfolio, develop strong landlord relationships and help shape the future of the business.
The Role
As Senior Lettings Negotiator, you will be responsible for managing and growing our lettings portfolio by winning new instructions, nurturing existing landlord relationships and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the lettings process.
You'll be confident working independently, identifying new business opportunities and contributing ideas to help establish our brand in the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new landlord instructions through networking, prospecting and business development.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with landlords, tenants and investors.
- Conduct market appraisals and provide expert advice on rental values and legislation.
- Arrange and carry out property viewings.
- Negotiate offers between landlords and prospective tenants.
- Progress tenancies from offer agreed through to move-in.
- Work closely with the property management team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to increase portfolio growth through referrals and repeat business.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems.
- Keep up to date with current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Represent the business professionally at all times.
About You
We're looking for someone who is ambitious, proactive and excited by the opportunity to help build a growing business.
You'll have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience within residential lettings.
- Proven track record of winning instructions and generating new business.
- Strong knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
- ARLA qualification desirable but not essential.
