We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic individual to join our team at our busy soft play centre. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and families.
It’s really important to us that our team takes pride in the space, is reliable, and enjoys being part of what we do. Our staff are a vital part of the business, and we rely on everyone to help ensure the smooth running of the centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing customer flow to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors
- Supervising play areas and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Cleaning and sanitising the facility at the end of each shift
- Supporting daily social media marketing (posting updates, promotions, and engaging content)
- Assisting with general day-to-day operations of the soft play centre
- Hosting party events
- Creating social media content
Working Hours:
- Opening hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Sunday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Shifts operate on a flexible rota basis:
- Monday to Saturday: between 8:45am – 6:30pm
- Sunday: between 8:45am – 5:00pm
- Typical shift length: 5 hours per day (on agreed working days)
- Staff are required to work at least one weekend day per month
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy, child-friendly environment
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (preferred but not essential)
Additional Information:
- All staff will be DBS (CRB) checked
- First aid training will be provided (Already first aid trained is preferred)
- The business will be closed during the following periods:
- Christmas Eve to Boxing Day
- New Year’s Day
