Subcontract Installation Electrician – Manchester
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Installation Electrician to join our team on a subcontract basis, working across Manchester and the surrounding areas.
We have ongoing commercial electrical installation work available and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is professional, reliable and able to work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation works across a range of commercial sites.
- Install, wire and connect electrical systems, equipment and accessories in accordance with project requirements.
- Read and work from electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Carry out installation work to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations.
- Work safely and maintain good housekeeping on site.
- Liaise professionally with site managers, other trades and our team.
- Complete works within agreed timescales and report any issues or additional requirements.
Requirements
- Valid JIB Gold Card – essential.
- Proven experience in electrical installation work.
- Good knowledge of electrical installation practices and current regulations.
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Own tools suitable for installation work.
- Own transport and able to travel across Manchester and surrounding areas.
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
- Good communication and a strong work ethic.
