Experienced landscaper/skilled construction operative – Gloucester, Cheltenham, Chepstow, Newport

We are a Cheltenham-based building contractor looking for a reliable and experienced (ideally 10 years +) landscaper/skilled construction site operative who takes pride in their work, well presented and wants to join a small friendly team.
Our domestic and commercial projects include constructing a bespoke timber frame home gym, oak sleeper retaining walls/raised beds, fencing, new roof structure to a commercial office building, assisting with porcelain paving, installing drainage, laying concrete and general construction.
Travel to Chepstow and Newport will be with other members of the team, although occasional independent travel may be required.
PAY
- PAYE: £15.50/hr + 12.07% rolled-up holiday pay (equivalent to approx £17.40/hr total) + employer pension contributions. Paid fortnightly
DUTIES
- Working alongside Landscapers, carpenters, bricklayers, groundworkers and working independently
- Maintaining an organised, clean and safe site
- Using hand and power tools
- Working as part of a small team
REQUIREMENTS
- CSCS card. If you don't already hold a CSCS card, one must be obtained
- 10+ years of trade experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Own transport essential
- Reliable and good attitude
- Able to work outdoors
- A recent DBS check is required due to the nature of some domestic project (cost covered by company)
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- On site hours: 07:30–16:00
