Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and continental options
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout the shift
- Assist in meal presentation and garnishing to ensure an attractive display
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently during food preparation and service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous experience in meal preparation and kitchen operations preferred
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of serving procedures is advantageous but not essential
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality breakfast offerings
