Primary/Secondary Teacher – Supply Roles (Basildon & Essex)
Hours: Flexible (ad‑hoc, part‑time, full‑time, long‑term, temp‑to‑perm)
Pebl Education Ltd is seeking dedicated, adaptable Qualified Teachers (QTS) for supply, long‑term and permanent roles across primary and secondary schools in Basildon and the wider Essex area.
We also welcome ECTs and experienced teachers seeking permanent positions.
You’ll deliver engaging lessons, adapt confidently to different classrooms, support pupil progress, and contribute to a positive learning environment across a variety of schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons aligned with school curriculum and pupil needs.
- Adapt teaching to different classrooms, year groups and learning environments.
- Support pupil progress through effective planning, assessment and feedback.
- Maintain a calm, inclusive and positive classroom culture.
- Follow school safeguarding procedures and uphold professional boundaries.
- Communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents where required.
- Contribute to behaviour management using positive, consistent strategies.
- Ensure continuity of learning during supply or long‑term cover assignments.
Requirements (Safer Recruitment Compliant)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential (subject to TRN checks)
- Flexible, adaptable approach to teaching across different settings.
- Strong commitment to pupil progress and safeguarding.
- Ability to provide two written references, including:
- Most recent employer
Most recent school‑based employer (where applicable)References covering thelast two years in total.
- Enhanced DBS including Children’s Barred List, on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK, photo ID, two proofs of address.
- Willingness to complete safeguarding training and ongoing suitability checks.

Pay: £155.00-£230.00 per day
