TWS Logistics and Freight Ltd is looking for a reliable, organised and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Basildon.

Key duties and responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a team to meet daily operational targets, e-commerce deadlines and customer requirements.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Receiving, checking and processing inbound stock accurately.
- Labelling, ticketing, folding, hanging, packing or reworking garments/items when required.
- Picking, packing, scanning and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Using the warehouse management system to process orders, check stock information and update warehouse activity accurately.
- Supporting stock counts, stock movements and general warehouse duties as required.
- Reporting stock discrepancies, damages, missing items to the supervisor.
- Supporting e-commerce operations, including preparing online orders, steaming, checking product details and ensuring orders are packed correctly and on time.
- Using Excel and Microsoft Office tools when required to support warehouse reports, stock checks and order information.
- Following health and safety procedures, manual handling rules and company policies.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous warehouse, logistics or e-commerce experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential as full training can be provided.
- Good English communication skills, both spoken and written, are required.
- Good computer literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to use, learn and follow a complex warehouse management system accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good timekeeping, reliability and a professional attitude.
- Forklift experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
