Job Summary
As a subcontract cleaning operative , you will deliver cleaning services to client sites assigned within your local area . Work may include offices , student accommodation , communal areas , commercial premises or , residential properties.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
- Deep cleaning and end of tenancy cleans ( where required )
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Reporting completions via photos or job forms
- Maintaining professional conduct on client premises
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning duties
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols
Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning experience at least a year
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Self employed status (or willing to register )
- Your own cleaning equipment and products (preferred )
- Reliable ,punctual ,and detailed focused
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to travel across Leeds and surrounding areas
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude are essential for working effectively within a team
