We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our friendly nursery team here at Little Greenhouse Nursery on a temporary basis for 1 year from November 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and eager to support the smooth running of a high quality setting.
About the Role - you must be able to:
- Support the Nursery Manager in the day to day running of the nursery
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding care and learning
- Ensure the EYFS framework is implemented effectively
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider team
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance
- Work in ratio where required
- Support the SENCO
- Cooking and lunch cover duties
About You
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) - essential
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding - essential
- Previous leadership or senior practitioner experience - essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills - essential
- A positive, nurturing approach to working with children - essential
- Experience with SEN children and the role of SENCO - essential
- Experience of rota's, funding, invoicing, leading meetings, leading Ofsted inspections - essential
