Job Overview
SweCos Structural Alterations Ltd is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple structural alteration and enabling works projects across London and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing several live projects simultaneously, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The role includes planning works, coordinating labour and subcontractors, liaising with clients and ensuring all project documentation is completed to a high standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
- Prepare and review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), programmes and other site documentation.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
- Carry out regular site visits and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
Essential requirements:
- Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience in structural alterations, demolition, temporary works, underpinning or enabling works.
- SMSTS qualification.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Experience acting as a Temporary Works Coordinator and/or Temporary Works Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and construction best practice.
- Experience preparing and reviewing RAMS and construction documentation.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Experience working in occupied buildings and live environments.
