About Break Away Group
Break Away Group provides property management and transitional housing services across London, working with housing providers, landlords and accommodation partners to help residents maintain successful tenancies.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated, organised and proactive Housing Officer to manage transitional housing properties across North West London.
Previous housing or support work experience is welcome but not essential. Full training will be provided, so we are open to applicants from different backgrounds who are reliable, confident and keen to learn.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to regular travel between properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete resident sign-ups and move-ins.
- Carry out weekly resident and property visits.
- Provide practical tenancy and housing-related support.
- Manage a portfolio of transitional housing properties.
- Help set up and onboard new properties and schemes.
- Liaise with landlords, housing providers, referral partners and contractors.
- Maintain clear and accurate records.
About You
- Organised, reliable and proactive.
- Confident communicating with residents and professionals.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
- Professional and able to maintain appropriate boundaries.
- IT literate with good record-keeping skills.
- Interested in developing within housing and property management.
