Durdle Door Housekeeping Co. is a new premium holiday home housekeeping service specialising in professional cleaning, guest changeovers and linen services.
There are already many cleaners and cleaning companies operating across the local area.
We don't want to be just another one.

You don't need years of professional cleaning experience. We can teach you our cleaning process.

What you'll be doing
You'll primarily carry out holiday home changeovers between departing and arriving guests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Thoroughly cleaning holiday homes and caravans
- Cleaning bathrooms, showers and toilets to an excellent standard
- Cleaning kitchens and appliances
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Emptying and replacing every bin
- Changing bedding and making beds beautifully
- Checking linen carefully for hairs, stains or marks
- Dusting and cleaning surfaces
- Replenishing guest essentials
- Presenting each property ready for arriving guests
- Following our housekeeping checklist
- Completing a final inspection before leaving
- Taking completion photographs after each changeover
- Reporting damage or maintenance problems
- Assisting with linen and laundry
We don't expect our team to rush through properties.
We expect them to leave properties properly finished.

Previous cleaning, hotel, housekeeping, Airbnb or holiday-let experience is useful, but not essential.

Driving & Location — ESSENTIAL
Due to the nature of holiday home changeovers:
You MUST hold a valid driving licence and have reliable access to your own vehicle.
Applicants should live within approximately a 20 minute drive of Durdle Door Holiday Park, West Lulworth.
Our team needs to be genuinely local so that we can provide owners with a dependable service and respond quickly when necessary.

Working hours
This is a part-time, flexible hours position.
Work is based around guest changeovers and will mainly take place during the daytime between guests leaving and new guests arriving.
There will be:
- Weekday work
- Weekend work
- Increased work during school holidays
- Significantly busier periods during spring and summer
- Quieter periods during the low season
Applicants with good daytime and weekend flexibility will be particularly suited to the position.
Pay
£14.50–£16.00 per hour, depending on experience and responsibility.
As the company grows, there will be opportunities for our strongest team members to receive more regular hours and additional responsibility, including potential senior/team leader positions.
