MEP AD / Senior AD Manchester
An experienced and commercially aware Associate Director responsible for leading the delivery of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering services across design, professional services, and project delivery commissions. The role combines technical leadership, client relationship management, business development, team leadership, and quality assurance within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment. They will be supported by the existing London MEP team as they look to grow a team in Manchester.

This doesn’t hinge on them having a ‘black book’ more about having that edge and ability to do it. Not head down and delivering all the time. They look to see the bigger picture.
- Confident in client facing situations able to take the initiative and support / take the lead.
Technical Design Services
- Lead the design and specification of mechanical and electrical services systems.
- Oversee the production and review of concept, developed and technical designs in accordance with RIBA stages.
- Ensure designs comply with current legislation, Building Regulations, British Standards and industry best practice.
- Undertake design reviews and provide technical assurance for multidisciplinary projects.
- Advise clients on energy efficiency, decarbonisation, net zero strategies and sustainable building design.
- Lead feasibility studies, options appraisals and technical due diligence commissions.
Professional Services
- Deliver professional engineering consultancy services including:
- Building surveys and technical inspections.
- Condition surveys and lifecycle assessments.
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
- Dilapidations support and technical advisory services.
- Technical due diligence surveys.
- Capital expenditure planning.
- Asset management and estate strategy advice.
- Provide expert engineering advice to clients regarding building services performance and compliance.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications and strategic recommendations.
Business Development
- Support business development activities and contribute to revenue growth targets.
- Prepare fee proposals, bid submissions and framework applications.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging sectors.
- Develop strategic relationships with public and private sector clients.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
