Job Summary
As a Door Supervisor, you will be the frontline ambassador responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at our venue. Your energetic presence will ensure that all guests and staff are protected while enjoying their experience. You will oversee access control, monitor the premises through surveillance systems, and respond swiftly to any incidents or security concerns. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create a positive atmosphere where safety is prioritized and everyone feels valued.
Duties
- Manage entry and exit points, verifying guest IDs and ensuring adherence to venue policies
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services if required
- Enforce safety protocols, including crowd control, access restrictions, and emergency evacuations
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for reporting purposes
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue to identify potential hazards or security breaches
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, surveillance, or crowd management roles preferred
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hiring
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in monitoring activity
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests, staff, and emergency responders
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations confidently
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout shifts
