The Role
Sixes Cricket brings the theatre of cricket to life – immersive net technology, premium food and drink, and a guest experience like nothing else out there. We're growing fast, and we need an Assistant General Manager who's ready to step up and lead.
This isn't a supporting role. When the GM's off the floor, the venue is yours – the numbers, the team, the standards, all of it. You'll protect margin, drive the sales culture, and build a team that performs. If you're hungry to run your own venue one day, this is exactly how you get there.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running the show – full responsibility for the venue in the GM's absence, driving efficiency, profitability and performance day to day
- Owning the numbers – managing labour and stock to protect margin, and staying close to weekly and monthly P&L
- Building the team – coaching, developing and getting the best out of everyone around you, and recruiting new starters who get the Sixes way from day one
- Driving revenue – championing a sales-first culture and finding ways to grow the business in-house and in the local community
- Setting the standard – keeping the venue looking sharp, running safely, and delivering guest experience at full throttle every shift
What We're Looking For
- Proven management experience in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality or entertainment venue
- Real commercial awareness – you know your P&L and you care about margin
- A natural leader who gets results through energy, clarity and accountability
- Confident making decisions under pressure and deputising for a GM
- Organised, detail-focused, and obsessive about brand standards
- Genuinely ambitious – you see this as the step before GM, not the ceiling
What You'll Get
- Competitive salary with performance incentives
- A clear, genuine pathway to GM and beyond
- Support from central Operations, People and Marketing teams
- A high-energy, direct, no-nonsense team culture that's actually fun to be part of
- Staff perks including complimentary cricket and F&B
Ready to step up? We'd love to hear from you.
