Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sports Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Sports Massage Therapist, you will provide professional and therapeutic massage treatments to our clients, helping them relax, relieve pain, and improve their overall well-being. Duties:
- Perform various massage techniques, including sports massage, and others, based on client needs and preferences
- Assess clients' conditions and create personalised treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction during the massage session
- Provide guidance and education to clients on post-massage self-care and wellness practices
- Adhere to all sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care for clients
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Sports Massage Therapist is an essential
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Strong understanding of different massage techniques and their benefits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt massage techniques based on client needs and preferences
- Professionalism and strong work ethic
Requirements:
- Sports Massage Level 4 (Minimum)
- Liability insurance coverage
- Availability to cover evenings and weekends are a absolute must
- Located within 30 minutes of the practice
- Able to drive as clinic location is within an isolated area
