Position Overview:
We are seeking a supervisor to lead daily operations at VOX Karaoke. The role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, leading staff to provide the best service, maintaining the high standards set out by the venue and ensuring smooth operational service throughout each shift.
The ideal candidate is a confident leader with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, creating memorable experiences for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
- Supervise and motivate all staff throughout service
- Lead any pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities to all staff
- Train, coach and develop team members to maintain luxury service standards set out by managers.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback
- Assist with attendance, scheduling and shift coverage
- Maintain a positive, professional and collaborative team culture
- Abide by and uphold the expectations set out by the managers.
Guest Experience
- Welcome VIP and regular guests with professionalism and warmth
- Ensure every guest receives attentive and personalised service
- Handle guests’ requests, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
- Build strong relationships with clientele
Operations
- Oversee daily opening, service and closing procedures
- Ensure all private karaoke rooms are clean, fully stocked and presented ready for all groups
- Coordinate with bar, kitchen, floor and security to ensure a seamless service
- Monitor room bookings, guest flow and service efficiency
- Ensure karaoke equipment, venue facilities and other operational equipment are clean, safe, fully functional and are maintained to the venue’s luxury standards
Compliance and Standards
- Maintain compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service
- Enforce company policies, procedures and service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the venue
- Support inventory control and minimise product waste and loss
Financial Responsibilities
- Assist with POS accuracy and cash outs at the end of shift
- Monitor labour efficiency and service productivity
- Support stock counts and inventory management
- Assist management in achieving sales targets and venue KPIs
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Experience in delivering premium customer service
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cocktail bars or premium venues
- Personal License
- First Aid certification
