Bolton College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer A in Catering, with strong industry and subject specialist knowledge, to deliver high-quality teaching and learning within our Catering Department.

We are looking for someone who ideally has:
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in Catering and Hospitality
- Level 3 Advanced Food Hygiene (or willingness to work towards)
- A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent), or willingness to work towards one
- Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and industry updating
Day-to-day you will have responsibility:
- To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
- To support the Head of Department on curriculum and course development.
- To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
- Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
- To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates
- As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
