The Opportunity
Haberdashers' Monmouth School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Administrator. Working within the Accounts team, you will be responsible for the administration of the Accounts Payable processes, this role requires hands on execution and cross functional collaboration to ensure seamless operation .
This is a permanent, full-time role for 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing of invoices, obtaining appropriate authorisation, arranging timely payment of invoices and supplier account reconciliations
- Build and maintain strong and robust relationships with suppliers addressing queries in a timely manner
- Liaise with other departments in the school and outside suppliers to ensure completeness, correctness of all information and where applicable costs are recharged to pupils
- Maintain supplier master data ensuring accuracy with evidence of validation checks being performed
- Prepare financial reports relating to accounts payable such as aged payables, credit balances and payment practice reporting requirements for review with the Finance Director
- Provide support to the Finance function, undertaking tasks and additional duties as required by the Finance Director namely Credit Card reconciliations, Departmental Budgets and Petty Cash
About You
You will be an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator with a detailed knowledge of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes. Proficient in the used of MS Office applications, you will have excellent data entry and communication skills teamed with good organisational skills and the ability to work accurately to tight timescales.
