General Farm Worker - FTC (4 Months) Canonbie, Dumfriesshire

Based at our trials farm in Canonbie and reporting to the Farm Manager, an opportunity has arisen for a general farm worker on a fixed term contract - 4 months. Following a training period the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate competent poultry husbandry skills, handling and catching of birds, monitoring feed levels and checking water systems. The successful applicant will be required to adhere to the required standards of bio-security, bird welfare and health & safety at all times.
Full training will be provided, although previous poultry experience would be advantageous.
You will be required to work 22 hours per week, based on 4 hours per day Thursday and Friday plus weekends consisting of 7 hours each day Saturday & Sunday.
There will also be overtime available to cover holidays, when required.
