Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marine Engineer to join our innovative maritime team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing the mechanical systems aboard our vessels. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repair of all types of marine engines and transmissions / drives / generators
- Perform mechanical repair work such as: – engine removal, servicing, fitting.
- Overhaul or replace engine components such as blowers, generators, distributors, starters, pumps, electrical and fuel systems.
- System rebuilds
- Rewire ignition system, lights and instrument panel
- Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, waste systems, and electronic equipment.
- You will also be required to carry out general boat maintenance including cleaning, polishing, sanding, antifouling and other annual maintenance tasks
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure the safety of you and others
- Tool and equipment care and maintenance.
Experience
· Experience of working in the luxury yacht industry preferable.
· Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
· Good team player and excellent communicator.
- Enjoy problem solving & variety to their working day
· Understanding of quality processes.
· Ability to listen, understand & follow instructions.

Pay: £26,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
