We are currently looking for one hardworking and dedicated individual to join our team in Hull as a Warehouse Operative on the weekend shift.
The weekend shift runs as follows - (Fri-Sun 10:00-18:00, Mon 15:00-23:00)
Purpose of the Role:
To ensure the safe storage and despatch of warehouse goods and products in the right locations, to pick and pack finished goods ready for distribution, to meet customer demand.
Principle Accountabilities
- Wrapping pallets of finished goods to secure for customers
- Labelling pallets of finished goods to identify for customers
- Keeping a good stock of pallets to supply to production
- Ensuring stock rotation is maintained
- Supplying factories with stock as required
- Manual handling involved
- Undertaking other warehouse duties
- Keeping a clean & tidy work area
Experience and Qualifications
- Positive and friendly "can do" attitude
- Ability to work to deadlines in a demanding environment
- Good communication/reasoning skills
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions/specifications
- Ability to work well as a part of the team
- Numerate and literate (to GCSE level)
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
- Level 2 Health & Safety Certificate
- Computer skills
- Food manufacturing experience
Warehouse Operatives on the working calendar Fri-Mon receive an additional weekly payment of £73.88.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
