Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Warehouse Operatives to join our dynamic team in Dartford. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity across our warehouse facilities.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring all materials are handled with care and precision
- Operate forklift trucks safely to move goods within the warehouse, adhering to all safety protocols
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations accurately
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing deliveries against documentation
- Handle materials with mechanical knowledge to ensure proper storage and handling procedures are followed
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining clean, tidy, and well-stocked work areas
- Participate in stock counts, audits, and cycle counts to uphold inventory accuracy and accountability
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software for inventory control
- Experience in materials handling, load & unload operations, and shipping & receiving processes
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus for understanding equipment maintenance or assembly tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout shifts
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in stock management

- Forklift/PPT experience preferred – but not essential

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,247.68 per year
