Business Development Coordinator – Automotive
We are looking for a dynamic person to join a very focussed team that operates both in the UK and overseas so opportunities exist for international travel and to work with business partners from around the world. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced automotive business, supporting the development and growth of vehicle parts, accessories, and product programmes. Working within the Business Development team, you will play a key role in coordinating supplier relationships, supporting new product development, and collaborating with UK and international teams.
The role is suited to an organised, proactive individual with excellent communication skills who enjoys managing multiple projects in a dynamic automotive environment. A genuine interest in the automotive industry and confidence driving a variety of vehicles will be advantageous.
Job Description
Provide administrative and project support to a busy Business Development team, working closely with Business Development Managers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers, identifying and developing new supplier partnerships where required.
Coordinate the sourcing and management of the Second-Line Parts Programme.
Support new product development projects, including organising product test-fits and obtaining technical sign-off.
Work closely with the technical team to ensure collaboration throughout product development and implementation.
Liaise with the IM Beijing team to support international projects and communication.
Manage and expand the accessories range across all brands.
Support Fleet projects and collaborate with the Homologation team where needed
Maintain and manage the fleet diary.
Undertake a range of administrative duties, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and maintaining accurate records.
Strong ICT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience of supplier management or procurement activities is desirable.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional manner.
Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
Professionally presented with a smart appearance.
Full UK driving licence.
Confident and comfortable driving a variety of vehicles.
