Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Self employed Cleaner to join our team. This role is for approximately 2.5 hours one evening per week, with the specific day to be agreed. This will be the same time every week on an ongoing basis.
The position is offered on a self-employed basis. Supplies will be supplied.
You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across a commercial premises. The successful candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
A valid driving licence to facilitate travel between sites unless Ivybridge/Lee Mill based.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of communal spaces, offices, and specialised areas as required
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with organising cleaning supplies and stock levels
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective teamwork and customer interaction
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driving licence to facilitate site visits when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
