Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in meal preparation
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations during service periods
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
- Support junior staff by providing guidance and training on food preparation techniques
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and within specified timeframes
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
- Previous experience working as part of a busy culinary team is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and organisation skills
- Experience with serving or front-of-house duties is considered an advantage but not essential
