Junior Maintenance Technician
We at Cullen Property are expanding our in-house maintenance team and looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Maintenance Technician to join us.
We’re fully committed to encouraging and developing our colleagues in their roles. This is an entry-level opportunity with full training provided, giving you the chance to build your skills and grow within our maintenance team over time.
We do property differently. We care about our colleagues' workloads and run a suitable size of team to ensure we have sensible cover for life's unexpected challenges. We provide full cover when our colleagues are on leave so that time off is genuinely a time to recuperate and relax.
We know our people are the key to our ongoing success, so everything we do is client focused, working within a supportive and well-structured team to deliver a ‘stress-free ownership’ experience to our clients.
The Role:
What We Offer:
- A supportive, positive, and engaging work environment
- Full training and development opportunities
- The chance to be part of a professional, happy, and cohesive team
If you’re keen to learn, take pride in your work, and want to build a career in property maintenance, we’d love to hear from you.

- Assisting with day-to-day maintenance tasks across our properties in Edinburgh
- Carrying out basic repairs and general upkeep
- Supporting experienced technicians on larger jobs and refurbishments
- Completing decoration work such as painting and touch-ups
- Assisting with minor installations and general improvements
- Helping with garden tidy-ups and external maintenance
- Moving materials and supporting with deliveries (some heavy lifting involved)
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
This role involves ad hoc tasks, so candidates must be flexible. The work is varied and may take place across different locations within Edinburgh rather than being limited to one task or property, helping to build a broad range of skills and support overall learning.
All works are scheduled via our BigChange software (iPhone-based), with full training and equipment provided.
You will work as part of a team and report to the Maintenance Manager, while also having the opportunity to use your own initiative and build confidence working independently over time.
