What You’ll Do
- Daily cleaning tasks — sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and shared areas.
- Maintain hygiene standards — keeping floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures clean and presentable.
- Restock essential supplies — including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Waste management — emptying bins and recycling containers regularly.
- Follow safety procedures — ensuring safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
- Report issues — notifying staff of any damage or maintenance needs.
Essential Requirements
- Full, up‑to‑date DBS check — or willingness to complete one before starting.
- Ability to travel between Wythenshawe, Dukinfield, and Northenden school sites as required.
- Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.
- Physical ability to carry out tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for periods of time.
- Attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces spotless.
- Good communication and a positive, reliable approach to daily tasks.
