To take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Gamefinity, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, leading the team, driving sales and profitability, maintaining high operational standards, and allowing the owners to focus on business growth rather than daily management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the venue.
- Ensure all gaming equipment is operational and any faults are dealt with promptly.
- Maintain excellent cleanliness, health and safety, and presentation standards.
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly.
- Oversee stock control and ordering.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train and develop staff.
- Produce rotas that balance customer demand with labour costs.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Deal with disciplinary and performance issues professionally.
- Create a positive, motivated team culture
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Resolve complaints quickly and professionally.
- Monitor online reviews and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure every customer has a memorable experience.
Sales & Business Development
- Increase bookings, repeat business and corporate events.
- Build relationships with local businesses, colleges, community groups.
- Help create promotions, events and seasonal offers.
- Monitor KPIs including revenue, occupancy, customer spend and profitability.
Financial Management
- Manage daily cashing up and banking.
- Control labour costs and operating expenses.
- Monitor budgets and report financial performance to the owners. Identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Ensure staff follow company policies and procedures.
- Keep required records up to date.
Essential Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years' management experience in hospitality, leisure or entertainment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets and profit and loss.

Hours Full-time, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by the business. Salary Competitive salary based on experience, with the opportunity for a performance-related bonus linked to agreed business targets.
Pay: £26,178.85-£29,000.00 per year
