Job Title: Housekeeper

Working Hours: Weekend - Saturday & Sunday 8am - 12pm (8 Hours)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of communal areas within a modern build-to-rent residential development. You will play a key role in ensuring shared facilities remain welcoming and well-presented for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain shared indoor and outdoor communal spaces, including:
- Gym – floors, equipment wipe down, bins, touchpoints
- Laundry room – surfaces, appliances (external wipe), floor care
- Garden/Residents’ room – tables, seating areas, surfaces, floors
- Communal hallways, lobbies & walkways – sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, spot cleaning
- Empty waste bins and ensure recycling is properly handled
- Clean internal glass and touchpoints such as handrails, door handles, lifts and entrance doors
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report when reorder is needed
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to site management
- Follow health and safety and COSHH guidelines at all times
- Ensure all housekeeping tasks are completed to a high standard within allocated hours
Skills & Experience
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (residential or commercial)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Good communication skills
