Duties
- Lead food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment
- Oversee food production processes, maintaining efficiency and consistency across all menu items
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimize kitchen operations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate serving times and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere that motivates team members and enhances guest satisfaction
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive food preparation and cooking experience across diverse cuisines
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire others
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on hospitality service excellence
- Knowledge of food production techniques and culinary trends
- Demonstrated leadership in high-pressure environments with excellent communication skills
