Job description
We have vacancy for a bank Domestic Assistant / Cleaner and are open to considering applications from those looking for bank work.
As a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner, you’ll ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the Home, so that our residents have a clean, tidy and safe environment to live in.
You will be joining an approachable and dedicated wider team, with whom you will work closely and collaboratively in the delivery of a high quality service to the Home’s residents.
As part of the role, you will:
- clean the Home to an acceptably high standard as determined by the Home Manager, in accordance with cleaning schedules / rotas;
- use appropriate methods and correct materials to clean all surfaces and soft furnishings according to Health and Safety and COSHH regulations; and
- follow Health and Safety procedures when dealing with the disposal of waste, and in cleaning and laundering throughout the Home.
We are looking for candidates with the following:

3. Qualifications and Experience:
You must:
- be eligible (and be able to evidence your right) to work in the UK.
You preferrably will, but are not required to possess:
- experience of cleaning in a care home setting; and
- relevant / up to date training E.g. Health and Safety, COSHH etc. Training will however be provided as required.
Please note that this position requires an enhanced DBS check to be undertaken by the Company.
Employee Package:
- £12.71 per hour minumum starting salary;
- 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum (pro-rated as appropriate) and statutory holidays;
- internal training; and
- uniform.
