An opportunity has arisen for a band 2 Occupational Therapy assistant to facilitate the Occupational Therapy (Hands and Rheumatology) staff working within the department.
The post holder will assist qualified staff and provide support in answering phone, ordering equipment and stock taking, assisting in maintaining the department and supporting the qualified staff in patient treatment.
The post is permanent. Part time hours pattern of working to be discussed at interview.
Supporting the registered therapists with aspects of the rehabilitation and treatment of patients
Organising the diaries of registered staff
Organising the patient appointments
Ensuring the workspace is set up for treatments
Ensuring that the stock of equipment and treatment media is available
Adhering to departmental policies and standards.
