About the Role
Laboratorio Mediag UK is seeking an experienced and highly organized Laboratory Manager to oversee laboratory operations, ensure high standards of quality and safety, and support the effective delivery of laboratory services. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership while maintaining a strong focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and workflows.
- Supervise laboratory staff and support team development.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures and safety requirements.
- Monitor quality standards and implement improvement initiatives.
- Manage laboratory equipment, maintenance, and inventory.
- Develop and maintain laboratory documentation and procedures.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
- Coordinate laboratory schedules and resource allocation.
- Prepare operational and performance reports for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Professional experience in laboratory operations or management.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety and quality procedures.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing laboratory equipment and resources.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
