Greenhills Care Home is a 45-bedded home in the heart of Biggar, providing high-quality care for individuals living with dementia and frailty. Set in a beautiful rural location with stunning views, our home offers a calm, welcoming environment for both residents and staff.
We are currently looking for kind, compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team.
About the Role
At Greenhills, being a Care Assistant is more than just a job — it’s about building meaningful relationships and making a genuine difference every day.
You will support residents to live as independently as possible, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and truly at home. We focus on person-centred care, where every individual is valued, listened to, and involved in decisions about their life and care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing high-quality personal care and support tailored to each individual
- Promoting dignity, respect, and independence at all times
- Supporting residents with daily routines, including mobility, meals, and activities
- Encouraging choice and involvement in all aspects of care
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes to the senior team
- Supporting meaningful activities and social engagement

Pay: £13.45 per hour
