We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Duty Manager to host our customers and lead our vibrant team, while overseeing daily operations within our popular and bustling café environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a strong understanding of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Assistant Manager and Cafe Manager to support a great team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and uphold high standards in all we do.

Duties
- Train and mentor team members in providing customer service excellence
- Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Delegate tasks, and monitor performance to maintain high standards of hospitality
- Handle customer enquiries, reacting promptly to guarantee satisfaction
- Create a friendly atmosphere that encourages teamwork and motivation
- Be able to work under your own initiative
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and customer areas in accordance with health standards
Requirements
- Proven management experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience in similar roles
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations related to food safety and hygiene practices
