We pride ourselves on producing quality workmanship and are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team.
The Role
We're looking for a motivated and reliable Welder/Fabricator who can work independently and as part of a team. You'll be involved in the fabrication and welding of a variety of steel products, ensuring all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- MIG welding of mild steel components
- Fabricating from engineering drawings
- Measuring, cutting, drilling and assembling steelwork
- Using fabrication machinery and hand tools safely
- Checking finished work for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Assisting with general workshop duties where required
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator
- Confident MIG welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- TIG welding experience
- Experience working with stainless steel and aluminium
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
