We are looking for a flexible and reliable team member to join our care home and provide support across a variety of departments within the home. This is a varied role that may include working in care on both day and night shifts, as well as supporting the kitchen, housekeeping, and laundry teams as required.
The successful applicant must be adaptable, willing to work across different departments, and able to accept shifts with as little as one week’s notice. This position is primarily to provide cover for sickness, annual leave, and other staffing absences within the home.
Full induction and training will be provided in each department to ensure confidence and competence in all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing care support to residents during day and night shifts
- Assisting in the kitchen with meal preparation and cleaning duties
- Supporting housekeeping duties to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Assisting in the laundry department
- Working flexibly across departments as required
- Following all care home policies and procedures
Requirements
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to work across a range of departments
- Reliable and able to work shifts at short notice
- Caring, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
