We are looking for an experienced, motivated and ambitious Deputy Care Manager to join our growing service.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager, Care Coordinator, Field Care Supervisor or Team Leader who is ready to progress into a senior management role.
The Role
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running and development of the service, including the office team and Field Care Workers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service
- Leading, supporting and supervising office and care staff
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, company policies and quality standards
- Supporting assessments, care planning and service-user reviews
- Managing safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints appropriately
- Conducting supervisions, appraisals, spot checks and competency assessments
- Supporting recruitment, induction and staff development
- Monitoring care quality and compliance
- Supporting rota management and effective staff deployment
- Building positive relationships with service users, families and professionals
- Supporting business development and growth
- Deputising for the Registered Manager when required
About You
You will have:
- Experience within domiciliary/home care
- Previous supervisory, coordination or management experience
- Good knowledge of CQC requirements and safeguarding
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and work independently
- A full UK driving licence
QCF/RQF Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Adult Care is desirable; however, we will consider a strong candidate who is willing to work towards Level 5.
